Choice Based Credit System
As recommended by the UGC GR we have introduced Choice Based Credit System in the department in the academic year 2013-14. The idea behind this is to make the process of education student centric. It also aims at making curriculum interdisciplinary which will promote student mobility. Each student has to undergo internal assessment of 40 marks and exam of 60 marks. The medium of teaching is English but assistance is provided in Marathi for students with a vernacular background.
