Introduction
TMV’S Lokmanya Tilak Law College is one of the recently established Department at the Vidyapeeth. Presently Department provides the Three Year LL.B. and Five Year B.A.LL.B Course. The course is in accordance with the rules laid down by Tilak Maharashtra Vidyapeeth and the Bar Council of India. The course consists of six semesters for Three Year LL.B and ten semesters for Five Year B.A. LL.B course. On the successful completion of this course, the student is eligible for the LL.B and B.A.LL.B.degree awarded by the Tilak Maharashtra Vidyapeeth.
Course Objective:
The establishment of the Tilak Maharashtra Vidyapeeth was aimed towards imparting National Education conceived by Lokmanya Tilak in his Four Fold Formula (the other three Swaraj, Swadeshi and Boycott) with this objective, Course aims:
* To provide to the students up-to-date knowledge supported by strong theoretical background coupled with practical legal experience.
* To develop personal and professional integrity among students.
* To ensure overall development of the student.

4. Foreign Cell
          Vidyapeeth provides a separate Cell for support and guidance to the foreign students seeking admission in Vidyapeeth. The Cell looks after registration, admission and eligibility procedure regarding foreign students. The Cell also conducts Orientation Programmers and various courses for foreign students. The Cell is always cage to help the foreign students and to resolve their grievances if any.

1. Legal Aid Center:
          As per guidelines given by the Bar Council of India, Legal Education Rules 2008 the college has established and constituted Legal Aid Centre in order to provide legal aid to needy and poor sections of the society.

2. Moot Court:
          Moot Courts are an integral part of Law education. Opportunity to make presentation through moot court competition will amply provide to each student. Qualified students will also further represent the department at Intercollegiate Moot Court Competitions and State Level Moot Court Competitions, etc.
3. Law Club:
          Law Teachers, Guidance Counselors and Student Representatives will be the members of this Law Club. The Club will promote additional benefits to the students on matters like nearby hostel facilities, monetary advice, guidance on varied problems like health, psychological or emotional problems, etc.

1) The student graduate in any faculty with minimum 45% of marks is eligible for the admission to Three Year LL.B Degree Course. Minimum 40% marks for the students/ applicants belonging to S.C. and S. T. categories.
2) An applicants who have obtained + 2 Higher Secondary passed certificate or First Degree certificate after prosecuting studies in distance or correspondence method shall also be considered as eligible for admission to Three Year LL.B Course. (According to Chap. II Rule 5 of Bar Council of India).

GENRAL INSTUCTIONS FOR LL.B.THREE YEAR AND B.A.LL.B. FIVE YEAR LAW COURSE
1.Duration of Syllabus
In case of any change in partial or full syllabus of the Course, examination of the previous syllabus will be conducted only for the next three consecutive times and repeaters shall clear their backlog subjects of the previous syllabus within those three examinations.
2.Examination Pattern
Choice Based Credit System has been adopted as per Vidyapeeth Rules. 60:40 Pattern i.e. External (theory) 60 marks and Internal 40 marks. Internal includes Tutorials, Assignments, Presentation and Viva-voce.
3.Rules of Passing
College has started Choice Based Credit System pattern from this Academic Year and adopted 60:40 pattern. Choice Based Credit System pattern there is External Evaluation of 60 marks and Internal Evaluation of 40 marks. The student should get 50% marks individually for External and Internal Evaluation, i.e. 30 marks for External and 20 for Internal Evaluation.
4.Revaluation/ Rechecking and Verification of Marks
Candidates may apply for revaluation or rechecking of marks by paying the Revaluation Fee (10+250/- per subject) or Rechecking Fees (10+100/- per subject). Students should submit the rechecking/ revaluation form within three weeks after the declaration of the result.

          Besides job opportunities, self-employments are also available to the Law graduates. One has to enroll himself with the Bar Council. After enrollment as an advocate he can practice law in any of the courts in the country as per the rules, prescribed by the Bar Council of India.
          Efforts are going on to globalize Law and the professional courses. A Degree of Law from India is recognized in many countries, especially Commonwealth Countries. A Law professional can do ‘Legal Counseling’; can work with several firms, organizations and agencies at the same time.
          A law graduate may author journals, legal commentaries and bring out reports, academic materials etc.
